MATERIALS

At NEIJE, quality begins with the choice of materials. All our pieces are made from recycled metals or sourced from responsible supply chains. We work primarily with suppliers based in France, specializing in recycled gold and silver, in order to limit the extraction of new resources and prioritize ethical production.
Our jewelry is designed with carefully selected materials to ensure its durability and hypoallergenic properties.

Gold plating : Each piece undergoes a demanding gilding process, including several baths of 18-karat gold (750/000). A final tinting in a 980/000 gold bath provides lasting protection against natural oxidation. The 3- to 5-micron thickness ensures excellent durability, even with daily use.
925 Sterling Silver : Our solid silver pieces are manufactured according to quality standards that exceed French legal requirements. They guarantee strength, brilliance, and durability.
Hallmarks and Natural Pearls : Each piece of jewelry, whether gold-plated or silver, is hallmarked to certify its authenticity. Our freshwater cultured pearls are natural and hand-selected for their luster and uniformity. We also use semi-precious stones, always of natural origin. The pearls are hand-strung on a thread renowned for its exceptional strength and suppleness. This thread does not stretch over time, guaranteeing lasting quality, even as the years go by. Our jewelry is designed for everyday wear. Water-resistant and comfortable, it should nevertheless be removed for prolonged swimming or sports activities to preserve its full brilliance.
ALL OUR PEARLS THEY ARE 100% NATURAL
Our carefully selected freshwater pearls are strung on a thread renowned for its exceptional strength. This thread offers unparalleled durability while maintaining remarkable suppleness. Despite its extreme strength, our thread retains great flexibility. It does not stretch over time, thus ensuring exceptional quality and longevity.
WE USE THE PROPERTIES OF STONE IN EACH OF OUR COLLECTIONS

THE VIRTUES OF STONES

FRESHWATER PEARL
Freshwater pearls, produced in lakes, rivers, or ponds, are cultivated in mussels, unlike saltwater cultured pearls, which come from oysters. They exist in a variety of colors: lavender, white, peach, or black.
The pearl is a symbol of integrity, loyalty, and honesty. It is also known to enhance intuition and awaken sensitivity. Synonymous with well-being and calm, it is said to open the door to introspection and self-reflection.
ONYX
From the Chalcedony family, the name Onyx, meaning "nail," originates from a Latin legend. Used in Ancient Greece for jewelry (cameos), it is often associated with instinct and intuition. It is the emblematic stone of business acumen and management skills.
A stone of calm and self-control, onyx was said to regulate passions, allowing for greater self-restraint, amplifying a sense of responsibility, and bringing balance and moderation, enabling more informed decision-making. It fostered optimism and confidence in the future, and represented a true bulwark against anxiety and sadness.
AQUAMARINE
Known for centuries for its enchanting properties, aquamarine is a precious stone that seems to hold ancient secrets. Revered by ancient civilizations, it was often used in the creation of jewelry and ritual objects. Its light blue color evokes the purity of seawater, from which it derives its name.
Aquamarine is said to promote tranquility and perseverance, encouraging one to move forward with serenity. It is also known to foster communication and self-expression, while calming restless minds. A stone of protection and harmony, it is believed to be beneficial for meditation and to help balance emotions, bringing a sense of inner peace and mental clarity.
KUNZITE
First discovered in the early 20th century, this stone is named in honor of the American gemologist George Frederick Kunz. Its color ranges from pale pink to soft purple, evoking a feeling of tenderness and inner peace.
Kunzite is said to promote relaxation and tranquility, helping to dissipate stress and anxiety. It is believed to encourage the expression of emotions and strengthen unconditional love, facilitating sincere communication and deep connection with others. As a stone of spiritual protection, it is thought to bring a gentle and soothing energy, encouraging meditation and introspection.
HEMATITE
Renowned for its robustness and metallic luster, hematite is a precious stone used since antiquity for its unique properties and protective virtues. Its black to silver color, often associated with elegance and strength, has fascinated civilizations throughout the ages.
Hematite is known for its stabilizing and balancing effects. It helps to boost self-confidence, fostering a positive attitude and increased determination. This stone is also renowned for its ability to provide energetic protection, blocking negative energies and harmonizing the body and mind. In meditation, hematite is valued for its power to recenter and ground, bringing mental clarity and inner peace.
NACRE
Mother-of-pearl, also known as the "mother of pearls," is famous for its iridescent luster and natural beauty. Used since antiquity in the making of jewelry and decorative objects, it is often associated with purity and sophistication.
Mother-of-pearl is renowned for its soothing and balancing properties. It is said to promote harmony and tranquility, helping to calm the mind and bring inner peace. Furthermore, it is believed to stimulate intuition and foster feelings of tenderness and love, creating a sense of protection and emotional security. Wearing mother-of-pearl jewelry can evoke a deep connection with the sea and nature, symbolizing a perfect balance between strength and gentleness.
925 SILVER

The majority of our suppliers and manufacturing workshops are certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. This certification ensures respect for the environment and human rights at every stage of the extraction, processing, and marketing process.
We use recycled 925 silver in the majority of our products.
There is enough money in the world today that we don't need to extract any more.
By using recycled silver in our creations, we give a second life to discarded metals by transforming them into a durable piece of jewelry.
